Quartet playing in the flow of the music:
The Innsbruck Chamber Music Concerts welcomed the Henschel Quartet, one of the world's most successful string quartets. The Henschel Quartet offers the listener many notable qualities. One immediately feels their love of a full, gritty sound, for example in Schulhoff's dancy Five Pieces. And one feels their enjoyment of the musical flow, that never loses intensity even in the cantabile movements of Mendelssohn and Beethoven. Nonetheless their top priority remains their feeling for the right balance of tone, tempo, and style. The Henschel Quartet is solidly on top of all technical demands.
